London Open House – Forest Mews
September saw the return of Open House London, a truly citywide celebration of the buildings, places and spaces where we live and work. Baca Director Robert Barker’s award-winning Forest Mews group of residences was one of more than 700 buildings that opened their doors to the public this year.
The annual event programme provides a unique opportunity to see, explore and learn about London’s amazing architecture and design over one weekend. This year’s selection of buildings included beautifully designed residences, innovative infrastructure projects and prestigious civic buildings, alongside a programme of neighbourhood walks, engineering and landscape tours, cycle rides and experts’ talks – all for free.
Many thanks to Robert’s wife and co-architect of Forest Mews, Jessica, and all the Open House volunteers and visitors on the day.
